Browns York raise an impressive £1,000

Kindhearted staff at Browns in York have raised an impressive £1,000 for us.

Store manager Sadie Hunter, who presented a cheque for the money to our general manager Julie Russell, said the cash had been raised through events such as staff sales, and Browns Chairman Nicholas Brown, a keen supporter of local good causes, had asked that it should go to us.

We are really touched by the kindness of Browns and its workforce; the money will make a real impact on our cancer care work as we approach our 30th anniversary in 2017.
