Community Pride Award for fundraiser Jazlyn Smith

Well done to Jazlyn Smith, our schoolgirl fundraiser – she’s been announced as a Child of the Year in the Community Pride Awards! Unfortunately Jazlyn, who’s 10, was away with her school when the award was announced at York Racecourse on Thursday, but her Grandad received it on her behalf and today she was presented with it by her head teacher, Andy Herbert. We’re really proud of Jazlyn and of our other fundraisers Dawn Watts, Marie and Ian Surgenor and Martin Lettin, who were also shortlisted for Community Pride Awards. Thank you all - we couldn’t do what we do without you.
