Lap up some motor sport and raise cash for us

10th January 2018

Are you a confident driver? Put your skills to the test while raising money for us!

York Against Cancer is hosting a corporate motorsports challenge, with teams from firms across the city vying for go-karting supremacy.

Afternoon and evening sessions will be included in the challenge event on March 16, with teams of up to five drivers pitting their skills against each other and the clock.

A maximum of eight teams can compete during each session at the fabulous facilities of the York Motor Sports Village, Monks Cross, and the team that completes the most laps in their two hours of track time will emerge victorious.

The challenge also includes a chance for one member from each team to tackle the Sports Village’s state-of-the-art simulator of the legendary Silverstone race track.

Drivers are already clamouring to take part, so don’t delay – enter your firm today to avoid disappointment.

Afternoon team sessions cost £550 a team, while evening sessions cost £600, and all sessions include refreshments.

“It’s the third year that we’ve run this exciting event,” said our General Manager, Julie Russell. “It’s a fun and thrilling way to raise money for us and we are looking forward to a great day’s racing!”
