Weekend show on right track for charity

York Model Railway Club’s 2019 show was once again a money-spinner for us.

Volunteers who very kindly baked caked and biscuits and served refreshments at the Holy Trinity Church Hall, Heworth, helped us raise £973.19 over the two days of the show.

The event was very well attended and enjoyed a visit from the Lord Mayor of York, Councillor Keith Orrell, and his Lady Mayoress, Mrs Judith Orrell.
